Single Realm Architecture

DataJet Object Structure

The following outlines the basic Object Architecture of a single DataJet Server installation, showing the relationships between:

• Home folder
• Mongo Database (used to store Object details, including database objects, reports, templates etc)
• DataSources (the location of raw data files, definition files, decode files etc)
• Repository (the folder containing all realms)
• Realm (the folder containing all project and processing data for the realm)
• Output (location of shared data exports for the realm)
• MyOutput (user's individual export folder)
• Project Folder (each project folder contains all the datafiles and indexes for the project)

DataJet Folder Structure

The following shows the default folder structure for a DataJet Server installation - note that many of these locations are configurable via one of the following:

• DataJet Administrator
• Command Line Options
• Client Configuration File
