QQ - Why are my crosstab columns in the wrong order?

When displaying crosstab data in sorted mode, it may look as it crosstab columns or rows are in the wrong order.

See below that columns from left to right are (2015, 2021, 2016, 2019, 2018 etc)

This is because of the default sort mode settings. By default, Sort On = ALL is selected.

In this instance, Sort On = Rows is required:

Columns are now displayed in value order, whilst data is still sorted by row totals:
