Performance and shutdown issues on Windows 11 22H2

Issue

On Windows 11 22H2, in certain situations, closing the DataJet Server console window does not terminate the DataJet session even though the console window has been closed. Launching a new DataJet Server session re-starts the server, but performance is not as expected. 

To resolve these issues, it is then necessary to:

• shut down the DataJet Server task (DJServer.exe) in windows task manager
• reopen DJServer.exe and DJExplorer.exe

This issue does not occur on Windows 10

Cause

Windows 11 22H2 released a change to the Console application.

• Windows 10: Datajet Server is a console window event in task manager, 
• Windows 11: Datajet Server is a registered exe. in the task list.

Resolution

Change default terminal settings:

• Settings > Privacy and Security > for developers > Terminal 
• Set to Windows Console Host
