DataJet processes run quickly, but some processes are considered INTENSIVE processes. These are processes that may not return instant results, depending on the input parameters and size of data being processed. The following is a list of processes that are classed as INTENSIVE:
- AnalyseSegments
- CreateAudiencesFromWorkbook
- Rank
- CreateKeyTable, Make Key Table
- AddJoin
- AddJoinLayer
- BulkDecode
- BulkBanding
- ExtendIndexing
- AnalyzeField
- Data Audit | Count Discrete
In addition to these processes, all load processes are intensive and could take many hours (particularly if loading very large, very wide data (large = hundreds of millions of rows, wide = hundreds or thousands of columns)
INTENSIVE processes are often scheduled as part of a load or update process. All of these processes will usually still complete quickly (< 5 mins) if working on small data sets (<100 million rows)
