# Runner

Caution!Runner will send API methods directly to the active DataJet server without performing any of the checks that are in place in the Desktop Application - use with caution!Tip!To see the methods that are being sent to the server by the desktop application, use **Admin | Listener**.  

Runner provides a means of immediate execution of API methods. It is accessed from the **Admin | Runner** menu:

Right click in the execution pane to bring up the context menu:

Once a method has been added to the execution pane, select "Run" to immediately execute the method. JSON returned from the server will be displayed in the Results Pane:

Depending on the current Result Filter, Right-clicking in the Results pane will display further display options, for example, Data Model as Grid:

Control the display in the Results pane using the context sensitive Results Filter:
