# Creating Resolving Tables

This video shows how to create a resolving table from existing DataJet tables in order to perform analysis at a new level.

It uses the following approach:

- use combined dimensions to create new key fields
- create a continuous key
- make a new key table
- join key table to existing table
- copy up data from the existing table to the new table
- build aggregates on the new table
