# CreateProject

Creates a new project. If the project exists CreateProject will fail.

| method | "CreateProject" | Creates a new project |
| name | "ProjectName" | Name of the project to create. Automatically replaced by the Current Project name whenever Script Editor runs. CautionBe careful putting CreateProject commands into StoredScripts as it is possible to create a different project to that intended. Instead, consider using CreateTargetProject |

Used in conjunction with DropProject and OpenProject to force creation of a new project at the start of a script.
