# Context Panel - Getting Started

The Context Panel provides context sensitive information for the object selected in the [Project Explorer](/v1/docs/project-explorer-overview). Instant Insight is available through:

- Properties - summary level information for the selected object
- Counts - for datasets and indexed fields
- [Frequency Charts](/v1/docs/profiles-1) - for datasets and indexed fields

Data displayed in the context panel is selectable. Select & drag rows, bars, segments or Data Set Drag Handle to select records and move them to other parts of the system
